Home Team Confusion

(Posted: Friday, May 14, 2010)

It has been noted that the handed out paper schedules have the opposite team listed first for some games (different than the website) making it confusing to know who the home team is. So please use the website schedule to determine the home team (team listed first on the website schedule is the home team).

Sorry for the confusion.

2010 Annual General Meeting

(Posted: Tuesday, March 16, 2010)

The AGM is scheduled for Monday, March 29th, 2010 in meeting room 1 of the rec center at 7:00pm. The fees should stay the same at $500 so teams wishing to bring the entry fee can do that. The league has started the last weekend of April for the past three years and should be the same (daylight issues if we start sooner).

I will be stepping down as President and I know Roger Rolfe will be as well as he is not working in the area so we will need a couple of new executive members at least. I am not sure about Jana and Ed.

Some things I have put on the agenda are:

  1. New Executive Members
  2. Finances from last year
  3. League Insurance - How did we like NSA do we want to go back to SPN?
  4. Field Maintanance - Is the city keeping up with it as much as we would like? Should we hire someone?
  5. New Purchases for 2010 - Another set of bases - installation of anchors
  6. Year End Tournament and Dance - Need people to organize and help out
  7. Schedule the work bee - Can be earlier this year due to weather
